Option3 - A Better Solution Without Delay

Home

There is a public meeting at 6pm on Wednesday 13 February at St Johns in the City (cnr Willis and Dixon Sts) that you need to attend!

Transit is leading consultation on the Ngauranga to Airport Transport Strategy - and this could see more tunnels, more roads and more flyovers being built through the heart of Wellington. The result could be more CO2, greater oil dependence and a worse quality of life for Wellington residents.

Good options exist and need your support. Already there's a strong push to make our compact city more walking and cycling friendly, and to invest in high quality bus services and innovative light rail systems. Instead of throwing money away on unnecessary roads, we can invest in making Wellington more liveable. So it's time to speak out!

The public meeting with give you information on what's happening, Transit's plans, better choices, and how you can influence the outcome. The meeting will be short and there will be refreshments on offer. So take the time to participate in the debate - and bring your friends and family!
